As of June 23rd, Eclipse’s two main men, Fletcher and Walker Harris have only one point to go to finish their AKC Conformation Championships. According to Fletcher Harris, who took the point yesterday in Great Falls, MT, “It’s been a close race all along between me and my brother; it’s really been dependent on the judge and the day. Jackie and Paige have been great to us, making sure we’re always groomed to a ‘T,’ that we have great cuisine when we’re on the road, and having fun with us on off times so we don’t lose sight of what’s important! We couldn’t have gotten this far without them!” Walker Harris, through his agent, indicated that the de-bone-aire soon-to-be millionaire miniature schnauzer will not be commenting on his win today, but will be making an official statement at his press conference after finishing his AKC title. The word on the pavement is it’s regarding the launch of his modeling career and a new fashion magazine catering to the young, stylish urban pup. A leak from the publishing house revealed the magazine’s cover mockup, shown right. The Harris duo will continue their race to the finish in Missoula, MT, cheered on by their sister, Cedar, and the rest of the Harris family! The news editors at Eclipse wish all of them a great time in the northern wilds, and look forward to the photos documenting the final phase of the race. It will truly be a photo finish!

Given how close both boys are to their AKC championships it is hard to know who truly is on top! The standard for Miniature Schnauzers is 12-14 inches at the shoulder, but in today’s show world too many dogs are pushing above and beyond the 14 inch mark, which is why Eclipse is so proud of its two main men: Walker and Fletcher Harris, being shown respectively by our dear friends, Paige and Jackie. Walker (pictured in the background but still ON TOP) is already a perfectly square and classy package at 13-1/4” like his dad, “Ch. Minuteman’s All about Fly Fishing.“ His half-brother, Fletcher, at 13-3/4” (pictured in the forefront and still TAKING NAMES) is hungrily working to fill out an amazing frame; he is much like his grandfather “Ch. Rudesheim Billionaire” in his gliding movement around the ring. At nearly two year’s of age, both boys are beautiful to watch on a down-and-back and side-gait and are special in what they bring to the Miniature Schnauzer breed! Each have both majors (5-pointers, no less) and are only two points away from their AKC championships; and for those who boast that their dogs finished at an early age, Eclipse Miniature Schnauzers is proud to support the European standard of having points awarded at a mature age – you can be sure that Eclipse Miniature Schnauzers show pups are not oversized when fully grown!!!

Eclipse Miniature Schnauzers don’t call just any place home. The families who adopt one of our beloved pups are thoroughly screened and are truly special in their own right -- simply put, we won’t let just anyone take one of our pups and it shows. We routinely receive updates from our puppy people with photos and videos of all they are doing and how much a part of their family these companions have become. We’ve received so many, in fact, that it sparked the idea of having a “fan” page for each of the dogs since so many are doing fabulously fun things.
